Selinsgrove Ford is once again donating a Ford Mustang for the benefit of area Relay For Life events.
This is the third car donation by dealership. Ford Motor Co. is supporting the fundraising effort with the donation of a new set of wheels and tires.
Raffle tickets will be sold in a six-county area (Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union) for $1 each with the winning ticket being drawn at noon Sept. 28, 2013, on the lot of Selinsgrove Ford.
The official kickoff for the 2013 "Drive Out Cancer" Campaign will take place at 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at Selinsgrove Speedway.
Ray Benner, owner of Selinsgrove Ford, will present the keys to a red 2002 Ford Mustang Fastback to American Cancer Society representatives. Charles Paige, owner of Selinsgrove Speedway, will present a $1,000 check to the American Cancer Society to buy the first 1,000 raffle tickets. Paige will give a ticket to each adult attending the auto races that evening. Races will begin at 6 p.m.
