Patrolwoman resigns from city police

September 29, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

A city police officer who was hired late last year has resigned.

Patrolwoman Kaycie Rich, 24, turned in her resignation last week, leaving the department with 51 officers, according to city Police Chief Gregory A. Foresman.

Foresman declined to disclose the reason for her departure, saying it was a personnel matter.

The city is budgeted for 52 officers. Rich joined the department Dec. 5, 2011.
