Fish Real Estate has launched a property management division to help remove the burden of managing rental properties from their owners.
"We know there is a need for quality, full-time professional property management," said Fish Real Estate President Brent M. Fish. "We are constantly asked if we offer this service as a full-time option, because investment property owners see it available in other markets and know the value of the service."
Fish Property Management will have a dedicated staff experienced in property management, he said.
Jennifer Ruelens, director of operations for Fish Property Management, said property management goes beyond collecting rent and fixing leaky faucets.
"It is a highly skilled service that adds value to investments by applying risk management, customer retention, accounting, legal, and market expertise," she said.
Now, experienced people such as Ruelens are on board who can dedicate themselves to the service.
Rental property owners can take advantage of the service and go away with the knowledge that rental units are being managed correctly.
"You allow us to handle everything," Fish said.
With the emergence in recent years of the natural gas industry, the time has arrived to offer such a service to local rental property owners, he noted.
Upon recognizing a gap in the market, Fish developed a plan to provide it.
There's little question that many rental property owners will need the service as some investors find it hard to consistently meet the demands of their sites, Fish noted.
Fish Real Estate Vice President Patrick Little said the service will not only benefit rental property owners, but the entire community.
"There doesn't seem to be a company dedicated to this in the marketplace," he said.
Added Fish: "We believe it can complement our other divisions."
In addition to Fish Real Estate and Fish Property Management, the company's divisions include Fish Commercial Group, Fish Outdoor Properties, Fish Real Estate Auctions, and Fish Relocation Center.
