Emma Rosanna Lundy, 93, of Warrensville, passed away, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 11, 1918, in Warrensville, the only child of Harry E. and Lillian M. Stroble Chaapel.
Emma married Lewis Leroy Lundy, April 5, 1941, in Hagerstown, Md., and he passed away Sept. 16, 1996.
She was employed at Carey McFalls and retired in 1986.
Emma was a member of the Warrensville United Methodist Church.
She attended Williamsport High School and Williamsport Beauty School.
Emma was a charter member of the Eldred Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Eldred Township Grange, the Village Charmers of Warrensville and the Monsey Chapter No. 481 Order of Eastern Star.
Her survivors include her children, Louann M. (Richard) Confer of Cogan Station, Jimmie L. (Marianne) Lundy of Warrensville and Sharon L. (Bill Z.) Huyck of Muncy; her grandchildren, Scharmen R. Confer of Philadelphia, L. Schane (Stephanie) Confer of Montoursville, Krista L. (Eric) Wise of Montoursville, Ryan L. (Karen) Lundy of Cogan Station, Schanna M. (Tino) Penzone of Brienigsville and Brad L. (Bryn) Huyck of Bellefonte; great-grandchildren, Addison and Macie Confer of Montoursville, Mackenzie and Zoe Wise of Montoursville, Bryson Lundy of Cogan Station, Ethan, Gavin and Liam Rounds of Brienigsville.
Emma's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with services following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Connie A. Waugh officiating. Interment will be in Rose Valley Cemetery.
Her family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Warrensville United Methodist Church, 4570 Rte 87 Highway, Williamsport, PA 17701.
