Lycoming defensive tackle Dwight Hentz recorded his first-ever Middle Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sunday just a day after recording a team-high 10 tackles and two sacks in a 33-10 win over King's College. Hentz helped keep the Monarchs to just 1.2 yards per carry and keep the Warriors unbeaten in four MAC?games this year. Hentz was a part of four of the six sacks the Warriors recorded against King's quarterback Tyler Hartranft. He became the fifth active Lycoming player to record 100 tackles in his career, and he also surpassed 10 career sacks.
Bucknell's Tayler Siegrist scored in the 69th minute to tie the Bison's field hockey game with Rutgers, but Lisa Patrone scored in the second minute of overtime to give the Scarlet Knights a 4-3 win. Leigh Hillman and Kayla Sullivan also scored for Bucknell. Patrone finished with a goal and two assists for Rutgers.
Molly Urey scored the game-winning goal for Lock Haven as the Bald Eagles beat Georgetown, 2-1, in college field hockey. Emily Woods gave Lock Haven a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 33rd minute.
Nick Hale and Mike Kimble each scored a fourth-quarter goal to give Bucknell a 10-8 win over Harvard in men's water polo. Bison goalie Matt Napleton came three saves shy of equaling the school record, and became the first Bison since 2001 with at least 20 saves in a game. He finished with 21.
