Commissioners prepare for Thursday’s meeting

The Lycoming County commissioners will consider advertising a public hearing when they meet Thursday.

The hearing is scheduled for Nov. 15 to amend Gamble Township's zoning map and change land zoned as agriculture to countryside.

Other changes forwarded by the Lycoming County Planning Commission include changing an agriculture zone to resource protection and a resource protection zone to countryside.

A public hearing was held by the planning commission on July 12 on the changes.

Also Thursday's agenda is a $99,000 pass-through grant for the West Branch Drug and Alcohol Commission.
