Retired greyhound adoption events set
Monica's Heart, a retired racing greyhound adoption group, will hold several adoption events in the region:
Oct. 6 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tractor Supply Co., 1399 Columbia Blvd., Bloomsburg.
Oct. 6 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Petco, 80 Plaza Drive, Bloomsburg.
Oct. 13 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., PetSmart, 270 Marketplace, Selinsgrove.
Oct. 20 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Petco, 320 S. Lycoming Mall Road, Muncy.

Canton Kids Club to meet
CANTON - The third meeting of the Canton Kids Movie Club will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Canton Green Free Library. The showing will be "Jumanji."
The club is co-sponsored by the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Canton Green Free Library.
The club will "meet" during the 2012-13 school year on days that school is closed for a holiday or because there is an in-service day.
Future dates and movies will be announced. Membership is free.
No reservations are required. Movie snacks will be provided.
Womens' brunch slated in Lewisburg
LEWISBURG - All women are invited to brunch at 8:45 a.m., Tuesday at the Country Cupboard Restaurant.
The program will feature "Tips on increasing the Market Value of Your Home" by Sandy Hollenbach of Village Realty.
Music selections will be presented by Tammy Ross.
The guest speaker for the morning will be Pam Tilghman presenting "Snapshots of a Life."
