WELLSBORO - Zachary A. Zimmers, 22, of Troy, was sentenced Monday in Tioga County Court for the out-of-season shooting of eight deer on two occasions.
He was among 18 people sentenced this week.
According to court documents, Zimmer was sentenced to eight years of treatment-based intermediate punishment with 15 months in county jail and probation plus a $200 fine and $6,562 in restitution for theft and unlawful taking of big game on Feb. 24 and July 16.
One person was sentenced to state prison time. He was:
Dennis Emmick, 30, of Middlebury Center, 24 months plus $80 restitution for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Seven people were sentenced to county jail time. They were:
George Aikens III, 36 months intermediate punishment with six months in county jail for corruption of minors.
Andrew Roe, 19, of Tioga, 36 months intermediate punishment with six months in county jail for corruption of minors.
Stephen D. Felker II, 22, of Tioga, 36 months intermediate punishment for burglary, with six months in county jail.
Jamie L. Nagy, 20, of Tioga, five years intermediate punishment for criminal trespass with 30 days in county jail; 15 months probation for theft; fined $75 for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Zachary R. Harnish, 22, of Sunbury, 36 months intermediate punishment for receiving stolen property, with 30 days in county jail and $3,679 restitution. He also was sentenced to 18 months probation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Fonda M. Burrows, 25, of Tioga, 12 months intermediate punishment for possession of a controlled substance with 30 days in county jail.
Kathryn A. Young, 54, of the borough, six months intermediate punishment for DUI.
Two people were sentenced to electronic monitoring. They were:
William C. Tompkins, 47, of Troupsburg, N.Y., six months intermediate punishment for DUI, 30 days on electronic monitoring, probation, fined $750.
Daniel R. Witucki, Jr., 34, of Morris Run, six months intermediate punishment for DUI, 30 days electronic monitoring, probation, fined $750 plus $80 restitution.
Two people were sentenced to probation. They were:
Marcus Herghelegiu, 21, of Mansfield, 15 months for theft, fined $150.
Martin A. Blasz, 21, of Morris Run, 12 months probation for accidents involving death or damage, fined $150.
Five people were approved for Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition. They were:
Matthew M. Smith, 30, of Blossburg, 12 months for DUI.
Wallace A. Fleck, 50, of Saxton, nine months for DUI.
Storm D. Eoute, 20, of Liberty, six months for use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ashley J. Jiminez, 20, of Wellsboro, six months for possession of a controlled substance.
Brad C. Zunski, 20, of Bechtelsville, six months for use and possession of drug paraphernalia, underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
