Betty M. Diehl, 91, formerly of Grampian Boulevard, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 3, 2012, at Sycamore Manor in Williamsport.
She was born in Williamsport, Feb. 12, 1921, a daughter of George B. Moore and Nellie Connolly Moore. She was married to Charles A. Diehl for 57 years before he passed away Oct. 26, 1999.
Betty was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church for nearly 70 years and a member of the Williamsport Women's Club. She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of both hospital auxiliaries. She enjoyed Bridge and traveling the world.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Diehl Langis of Henderson, Nev., and a grandson, G. Charles Langis III; and one sister, Mary K. Merrell of Ann Arbor, Mich. She was predeceased by three siblings, Eleanor Pursell, Dorothy Robbins and John Moore.
Betty's Life Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Maneval Funeral Home, "a Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, Pa., with her Pastor Rev. Kenneth R. Elkin officiating. Interment will be held privately.
