Several letters have stated that the Muslims hate us and this is demonstrated by the recent protest and attack on a consulate resulting in the death of 4 Americans. Why is that?
American policies are look at by Muslims as very hypocritical. They see a foreign policy that heavily favors Israel a foreign policy that is against Palestinian rights. They see a continued American presence on the Arabian Peninsula, the Gulf States, Iraq and Afghanistan.
They see a foreign policy that supports the tyrannical governments that Muslims believe strongly suppresses Muslims. You also have a mineral-rich area that is economically poor. America brands itself as the citadel of freedoms and liberties. Muslims see an America that helps suppress their freedoms, their liberties.
