Jake Bair scored off a Zach Bair assist as Montoursville won 1-0 over Athens Saturday in boys soccer.
Sullivan County scored the game's first two goals and the final two as it defeated St. John Neumann, 5-2 to pull back to .500.
South Williamsport upset Shamokin, 1-0 as Griffin Molino scored off a Christian Cioffi assist in the 71st minute.
Tanner Kreisher helped Williamsport through a solid first half, stopping a penalty kick on a questionable call in the box. Kreisher stopped eight shots in the game, but Central Mountain stil beat Williamsport, 3-1.
Liberty played unbeaten Northeast Bradford tough, but two second-half goals helped pave the way for a 3-0 Panthers win.
In girls soccer, Williamsport edged Shikellamy, 3-2 in a back-and-forth game. Erica Ludwikowski scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 73rd minute mark.
Morgan Chambers broke a tie and put Loyalsock ahead to stay as the Lancers beat Mount Carmel, 2-1.
The Sullivan County girls cross country team completed one of the best regular seasons in program history Saturday, sweeping Hughesville and Troy in a tri-meet. Sullivan finished 14-7 and posted a winning record for the second straight year, a first for the program. Bridgette Paonessa, Alexis Kiess, Bethany Lambert and Mackenzie Doyle took places two through fifth. The boys completed another solid season with a sweep of Troy and Hughesville as well. Kelby Mullen took first in a time of 19:46 while Sullivan took places four through six.
In college volleyball, Penn College took two wins in a PSUAC quad match it hosted. The Wildcats won 3-0 (25-8, 25-7, 25-3) vs. Penn State Schuylkill and then later defeated Penn State Brandywine 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-20).
Lock Haven defeated Slippery Rock and IUP to improve to 7-2 in the PSAC. The Lady Eagles beat the Rock 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 26-16, 25-19) and IUP 3-0 (26-24, 25-11, 25-16).
Lycoming junior Katelyn McKillop posted 67 assists, moving into third in school history to lead the Warriors to a pair of wins at the MAC Crossovers at Lebanon Valley as the Warriors beat Delaware Valley, 3-1, before sweeping FDU-Florham, 3-0.
McKillop finished the day with 2,535 career assists, one more than Abby Myers put together from 2006-09.
In men's soccer, Lock Haven freshman Jacob Oldaker scored twice but the Eagles fell to Bloomsburg, 3-2.
With the help of two goals and two assists from freshman Tarik LaRoche, Penn College defeated Penn State York 6-2.
In women's soccer, Mansfield fell to California (Pa.) 5-0, despite trailing just 1-0 at halftime.
Lock Haven recorded its third straight draw as the Lady Eagles and local rival Bloomsburg played to a 0-0 tie at Bloomsburg.
Lycoming's Sam Stropko made seven saves but the Warriors fell to Widener, 3-0.
In college tennis, Penn College defeated Penn State Brandywine, 5-4. The Wildcats had lost 8-1 earlier in the season to Brandywine but turned the tables in the victory dealing the team its first loss of the season.
Shannon Sheridan won a first-round match in the first flight of singles play at the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships to highlight the Lycoming College women's tennis team's play at Kirby Park. She lost in the quarterfinals.
In field hockey, Taryn Schawillie and Brianna Velepec each scored goals for Mansfield but Chelsea Wanamaker scored what would prove to be the winning goal with just over a minute remaining to rally No. 3 IUP to a 3-2 win over the Mountaineers.
