Alice Marian (Watkins) Sillaman, 96, formerly of Blossburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Broad Acres Nursing home, Wellsboro.
Born Dec. 5, 1915, in Arnot, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Wilcox) Watkins.
On Oct. 28, 1936, Alice married Frank A. Sillaman; they enjoyed 44 years of marriage until his death on Oct. 17, 1981.
Alice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy A. (Sillaman) and John C. Goertz of Bellefonte; grandchildren, Marsha Kennedy Mills and her husband Walt of Texas, Mark Kennedy of Roseville, Martin (Sherry) Kennedy of Roseville, Matthew (Lisa) Kennedy of Virginia, and Maria Kennedy of Virginia; 11 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and William Kennedy; an infant daughter, Charlotte; and four brothers.
Friends will be received at the Freeberg Funeral Home, 120 N. Williamson Road, Blossburg, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, from noon until 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 1 p.m. with Rev. Michelle Sommerville officiating. Interment will follow at Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
