Joyce J. Wright Pursell, 55, passed away peacefully at her home in Virginia Beach Sept. 30, 2012.
She was born in La Jolla, Calif., the daughter of Joan Robles and the late Kenneth Jake Wright.
Joyce attended Williamsport High School and graduated from Selinsgrove High School.
Joyce will be remembered for tenacious love for her work and life. She was the epitome of strength and courage during her time of illness.
She is survived by her husband, Don and her mother, Joan Robles.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Rev. Louis Gatti officiating.
