In front of the Cochran school is a 3-way stop with school buses coming, parents dropping off children and no crossing guards. I would like to know why. Children trying to cross the street with cars coming from 3 different ways is not a safe thing. Parents who are in a hurry, making "U" turns it is very dangerous. I guess they can't wait for 2 minutes to let children cross the street. Why can't teachers take turns helping; for childrens safety, I would like to think that they could overlook that 15 minutes that they are teaching. The world depends so much on volunteers but where are they for the safety of the children at Cochran.
