MUNCY VALLEY - The Methodist Churches of Muncy Valley in Sullivan County will hold a tent revival service as part of the Sonestown Heritage Festival at 10 a.m. The Greenwood Valley Boys will play bluegrass gospel as part of the service. Sonestown is two miles north of Muncy Valley along Route 220. The service will be lead by Pastor Craig Livermore, a 1987 graduate of Williamsport Area High School. Benefit dinner
NAUVOO - A benefit all-you-can-eat dinner, sponsored by St. Paul's-Nauvoo United Methodist Church, will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. at New Linck Schoolhouse featuring ham and scalloped potatoes. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children age 5-12 and children 4 and under eat free. Proceeds will benefit the Kreiders' mission trip and Judy Mitstifer.
Friday Nighters meet
The Friday Nighters, a Pine Street United Methodist Church social group, will present Tom Gregory, associated vice president for instruction, academic affairs at the Pennsylvania College of Technology speaking about what is new at Penn College and the Madigan Library at 6 p.m. A covered dish dinner will be shared. Church Homecoming
LIBERTY - Friedens Lutheran Church, Brick Church Road, will hold its annual Homecoming at 11 a.m. to celebrate its 185th anniversary. Friedens is considered the "mother congregation" of Lutheran churches in the Liberty area and the first in Tioga County. Carolyn Simonds is the pastor of the Liberty Lutheran Parish, which includes the Liberty, Salem and Friedens congregations. There will be a dinner and fellowship time after the service.

TURBOTVILLE - A Longaberger pottery and basket bingo will be held at the Turbotville Community Hall on Church St. starting at 1:30 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m.) to benefit the Church of the Resurrection in Muncy.
