Catherine V. Nosel, 91, of Rose View, Williamsport, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Muncy, the daughter of Vern and Veneta (Beatty) Richey.
Catherine was married to the late Andrew Nosel with whom she shared 55 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1997.

She was a member of the Church of the Savior, Lutheran Church for 65 years.
Catherine retired in 1986 from Carol Hockman, Inc.
She loved to play bingo and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Catherine is survived by two sons, Joseph R. Nosel of Cleveland, N.Y., and Jan A. (Shirley) Nosel of Cogan Station; two daughters, Andrea K. (Richard) Lundy of Linden and Catherine V. (George) Shaffer of Trout Run; a sister, Betty Coon of Williamsport; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, four brothers, five sisters and a daughter-in-law, Karen Nosel.
Relatives and friends are invited to Catherine's Life Celebration service 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Rev. Roy D. Meyer officiating. A visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Church of the Savior, Lutheran, 522 Grier St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
