Irvin L. "Irv" Kriner, 76, of 1125 Hepburn St., Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Williamsport Home. He was born March 30, 1936, in Nauvoo, Pa., a son of Earl D and Almina Haker Kriner.
Irv retired from Coca-Cola, and had also worked at the Williamsport Hospital, Beiters Home Center, Vidmar, Inc., and for Gruenberg Electric. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Williamsport, the Muncy Valley Moose, the Harmonia Club, Wheel Inn Club and was a former Loyalsock Volunteer Fireman.
He was everyone's fix-it-man, a family man, was practical minded and was always quick with a joke. He loved antiques, and had a large network of friends and community.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Marie J. Leonard; his children, Steve M. (Chrissi) of Williamsport, Tina M. (Barry) Wood of Hughesville, Scott D. (Christine Meenan) of State College, Thom E. of Philadelphia and Jeff L. of Hanover; siblings, Kenneth of Liberty, Phyllis (Walter) Earle of Troy, Gerald (Judy) of Elmira, N.Y., Vera Ludwig of Williamsport, and Harold (Yvette) of France; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Kriner of Blossburg and Alverta Kriner of Covington; and four grandchildren, Stefanie Kriner, Jill Segraves, Tyler Wood and Juliana Kriner.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul, Howard, Wilford and Robert Kriner.
The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. David J. Spearly officiating. Interment will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday, Oct. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
