Myra Evelyn Shultz

Myra Evelyn Shultz, 97, a lifelong resident of Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Valley View Nursing Center. She was born April 9, 1915, in East Point, Pa., a daughter, of Franklin and Lillian Schanbacher Sheffer.

Myra worked in food service, having worked for Betty Bell at the Williamsport Regional Airport, and also for Fox's in Montoursville. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Williamsport, the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post 104 Auxiliary, the Willing Hand Hose Company Auxiliary and the Montoursville Garden Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow T. Shultz.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Lee) Woodhead of Montoursville; a brother, Harold Sheffer of Winter Park, Fla.; grandsons, Thomas Woodhead of Montoursville, James Woodhead of Oklahoma City, Okla., and David Woodhead of Mooresville, N.C.; and her great-grandchildren, Noble and Jade of Montoursville, McKenzie, Ayden, Julia and Cole of Okla., and Weston and Wyatt of N.C.

The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
