Employee allegedly stole copper wire

An employee at the Lycoming County Transfer Station, 1475 W. Third St., faces charges for allegedly stealing $494 worth of copper wire from the transfer station on Aug. 9, according to county Detective A. E. Diaz Sr.

Bruce Andrew Reiner, 52, of 239 Kibbe Lane, Trout Run, has been charged with misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property for stealing two radiators and numerous insulated copper wires, Diaz said. Reiner has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge James Carn.
