As I awake each morning I am greeted by the unavoidable fact that my elders are faced with a difficult decision. A decision that will undoubtedly greatly affect my generation's future. On one side we have President Obama and on the other we have Gov. Romney.
Remember President George W. Bush? He surely was not very conservative on money issues was he? President Barrack Obama has not been good on civil rights, he voted to extend the PATRIOT Act and signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act. Both are terrible and allow the government to spy on you without having to obtain a warrant (eroding the 4th Amendment protections). Romney is a beast cut from the same cloth as the two aforementioned politicians. All three are Machiavellian in their approach that the ends justify the means, they will lie, cheat, and steal to gain or maintain power. Do you really want either of them to run the country with records like that?
I hear people complain constantly about the two parties and how every election they must vote for the lesser of two evils. My question for them is: "Why vote for evil?" Mostly the answer I hear is "Because they will win." The politicians and parties know this and nothing will change until we wake them up. There are many third party candidates hailing from the Libertarian, Green, Constitution, Socialist, etc. parties.
