As a Constitutional Conservative, I am deeply saddened by the attitude displayed by American people concerning the problems facing this Administration. It seems that no matter the difficult problems at home and in the world, nobody seems to be noticing. Could it be the MSM, aka the Ministry of Truth, doesn't take these attacks on our way of life seriously? Might there be an agenda here? Well, let's take our present day problems and give them to the former occupant of the Peoples House.
Let's say our Ambassador to Libya was tortured and murdered, his assistant and two others were also killed and the consulate burned. Now, let's say that George said a few empty words and flew to Las Vegas to campaign for re-election and then continued to campaign the next day and the next. The other side would cry out in a loud voice, "What about Libya? " You would see a constant barrage of incrimination and hand wringing about how Bush is completely out of touch with his foreign policy. Harry Reid and Ms. Pelosi would be holding hearings on whether to bring charges against such incompetence. The Ministry of Truth would be hammering Bush day after day about his dereliction of duty. Yes, the people would be very engaged in the utter incompetence of President Bush. But as it is, the media continues to have a "move along- nothing to see here" attitude with the current Presidents' policy.
I am curious as to why our ambassador was in Benghazi with no bodyguard when it was known that Benghazi was a hotbed for terrorists?
Why, as of this writing, have there been no reprisals for this action on an American installation and its' citizens, which is technically an act of war?
Why are we giving foreign aid to country whose population is not fully behind their elected government and has no efficient control of the terrorists actively pursuing an anti-American jihad?
Why are we giving foreign aid to countries that hate us and celebrate when we are attacked?
I could go on and on but for now I think you get the picture.
We have grave problems starting with a media that has chosen sides and will not carry out its' purpose of being the citizens watchdog. They no longer are independent in thought or reportage, but now do their best to back those who share their own beliefs and report only what they deem fit for our consumption. God save the Republic.
