Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Wilk, Loyalsock Township, observed their 40th wedding anniversary Oct. 7, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. John Seville at St. James Episcopal Church, Muncy.
Mrs. Wilk, the former Mabel Rupert, is a native of Muncy. She is the daughter of the late Geraldine Baker and James Rupert. She graduated from Muncy High School in 1969 and State Beauty School in 1971. She is a self-employed beautician in Loyalsock Township.

Mr. Wilk, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Margaret and John Wilk. He retired in 2005 from Schnadig Corp., Montoursville.
They are the parents of a daughter, Tammy Jo Thompson, Mesa, Ariz.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple visited family in Arizona and Mexico in September.
