Arthur L. Phillips Jr., 53, of 57 Sandra Lee Drive, Linden, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at home.
He was born in Harrisburg on Dec. 23, 1958, the son of Arthur Sr. and Caroline Hoopert Phillips.
Arthur was a laborer, was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying hunting and fishing, and was a great Penn State fan.
He is survived by his lifetime companion, Sarah B. Johnson; children, Amy Walz of Bloomsburg, Arthur L. Phillips III of State College, Annette Laudenslager of Williamsport, Kathleen Johnson of Williamsport, Sarah Matthews of Williamsport, Tammy Carwford of Linden, Louise Weidler of Sullivan County, Shawn Johnson of Troy, Gary Johnson of Williamsport, Johnny Johnson of State College, Ricky Shultz of Erie and Henry Shultz of Florida. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Debra Phillips, Dale Phillips, Kelly Robbins, all of Dauphin, and Brian Phillips of Williamsport; 26 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
