I was just at the Williamsport High School's marching band home show on Saturday and I do want to say there were many talented bands there that night but I just had to comment on how rude the Milton area band was once they were finished performing.
The band came and sat behind us in the bleachers and they talked (loudly) while the other bands were playing. It was very distracting and disrespectful. I had to turn around and ask them to please keep it down because I was trying to watch and listen to the bands on the field but most of them continued to talk and not even bother watching the other bands. I looked around for an adult to confront and I didn't see any.
There were other people in the stands that also asked them to show some respect and to keep it down. I was very disappointed with their behavior and their lack of supervision. If they do not want to watch the other bands then go sit on your bus until the awards but do not ruin the show for the audience. There were other bands in the stands around us and they all talked during the breaks but were very respectful when there was a band on the field and to those bands I would like to say thank you and good job.
