I whole heartly agree with the editorial of the removal of State Police Aviation unit being removed from Williamsport.
I feel that Legislative is an embarrassment to think that only 8 people voted against it.
With a 40-year record of supporting rescue and support operations in emergencies as well as law enforcement should count for something and should be returned to the Montoursville Airport where it was for the past 40 years.
Rick Mirabito along with other local lawmakers have worked very hard in Harrisburg to try to get the aircraft brought back to where it belongs.
I always thought that when you vote on anything that the majority carried that vote.
Rick Mirabito never gives up and I sincerely hope that eventually he and other lawmakers will succeed in bringing the helicopter back to Montoursville where it belongs.
