Ice skating and youth ice hockey are coming to Williamsport. You may have noticed all the activity at Bowman Field the past week. Rink Specialties is building an ice rink that will operate from mid October to mid January. For the first time ever, citizens of Williamsport and surrounding communities will be able to watch professional hockey in their home town, and save all that gas money usually spent on traveling to Wilkes-Barre, Hershey, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.
Not only will we have pro hockey, but we will have youth ice hockey for boys and girls ages 5 through 18. Not to mention adult hockey for men and women over the age of 18. Let's also add basic skating lessons, power skating and figure skating to the mix, and you have a recipe for happiness! Where could you have more fun?!
