Richard L. (Ric) Cowher II, 55, of 176 Kinley Road, entered into Heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at his home with his family at his bed side.
Ric, a 1975 graduate of the Williamsport High School, was the printing manager at Lycoming College for 34 years where he won numerous printing awards.
Ric was a member of Williamsport City Men's Fast Pitch Softball League for 15 years and was named First Team All American as pitcher for the Bower Lab Softball Team in Kingman, Ariz., in 1988. He was an avid Pennsylvania fisherman and spent many wonderful hours on the local trout streams.

Ric was a New York Yankees baseball and Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football fan. His many talents included making wonderful soups, carpentry, construction, landscaping, gardening and being a mentor and coach.
Ric loved to visit the ocean and watch old westerns on TV. His greatest joy was his family and friends.
Ric was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Born March 28, 1957, in Williamsport, he was the son of Richard and Aldora (Dawes) Cowher.
Surviving are his wife of more than 30 years, Kathy (Moriarty) Cowher; son, Ricky Cowher of Williamsport; daughter, Amber Cowher (Michael Frey) of Williamsport; brother, Nick Young of Williamsport; sister, Jennifer Marquardt of Lock Haven; granddaughter, Alexis Frey; stepfather, Nicholas Young in Arizona; and many aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Ric was predeceased by his parents and twin brother, Robert Cowher.
A memorial celebration of his life will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave.
