A Loyalsock Township man faces charges for stealing another man's wallet and using a credit card that he found in the wallet to make a $10 purchase, according to Old Lycoming Township police.
Kyle Lee Crain, an admitted "addict," stolen the wallet from a vehicle at the Sunoco A-Plus convenience market, 1601 Dewey Ave., about 10 a.m. Aug. 22. He then used a credit card that was in the wallet at the store, police said. Police did not identify the victim in court papers.
Crain was apprehended that morning in the area of Kenwood and Frederick avenues, police said, and charged with identity theft, access device fraud, theft, theft from vehicle and receiving stolen property. Initially committed to the Lycoming County Prison, he since has been released on $9,000 bail.
