South Williamsport Mummers Parade organizers hope that mild weather Saturday will bring out throngs of spectators for the 67th annual event scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in the borough along West Central and West Southern avenues.
Temperatures are expected to be near 57 degrees with partly sunny skies during the day Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in State College.
"From what I've seen it's going to be a nice day," said Sharon Shutt, parade coordinator.

Twelve divisions with more than 140 parade entries will participate in the parade.
Borough residents are reminded that no parking will be allowed along the parade route the night before and the day of the parade, according to police.
Shutt said Mummers officials designated with badges and listed in the parade program will be traveling the route, accepting donations.
