Sharon D. Miller, 70, known to most as "Lolly", of South Williamsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, surrounded by family at her side at the Gatehouse, a year after fighting breast cancer.
Sharon was born on Oct. 8, 1942, in Williamsport, Pa., to the late Fay B. Wagner.
Sharon graduated from Williamsport Area High School. After high school, Sharon worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Company and later numerous daycares, as well as babysitting in her home later in life.
Sharon is survived by her three children, Lisa D. Angelo (Marlin) of South Williamsport, Erik C. Miller (Lori) of South Williamsport and Michael P. Zeyn of Montoursville; four grandchildren, Erik M. Miller, Monique P. McLaughlin, Jayda B. Miller and Ariella Black.
"Lolly" loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and keeping active. She was the recording secretary for the South Williamsport Mummers Association. She was an avid Little League baseball fan, and loved the Philadelphia Eagles. Sharon was a wonderful mother, grammy, Lolly you surely will be missed.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701. Funeral service with the Rev. Paul Fontenella will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Crouse Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of "Lolly" may be made to the Gatehouse, payable to Susquehanna Health Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
