MANSFIELD?- A one-vehicle accident on Newtown Hill Road, just south of Rolling Acres Road in Richmond Township late Wednesday night, sent two people to the hospital.
According to state police, Kris A. Housel, 18, and an unnamed, 17-year-old female passenger were travelling west on Newton Hill Road when Housel allegedly lost control of his Honda Civic.
The vehicle crossed over the oncoming lane, before leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
Housel and his passenger, who both were wearing seat belts, were removed from the vehicle by members of the Mansfield Fire Co.
They were transported to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
No information was released on their status.
