Debbie A. Chapman, 56, of Canton, passed away on Oct. 16, 2012 at The Gatehouse in Williamsport.
Debbie was born in Lewisburg on March 19, 1956, a daughter of Russell Sr. and Geraldine (Julius) Getz.
She had been employed as a home health aide for many years. She enjoyed watching soap operas, camping, playing horseshoes and motorcycles.
Surviving are her husband, Steve Chapman; daughter, Gerri E.J. Chapman; sons, John W. and Russell I. Chapman, all of Canton; a sister, Nancy Winters of Lewisburg; and brother, Donald Getz Sr. of Lairdsville.
Her parents, her first husband, Ralph Chapman Jr., and a brother, Russell I Getz Jr., all preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport. The Reverend Robert McKenzie, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Huntersville, will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Barbours Cemetery.
