Lycoming middle linebacker Kabongo Bukasa was named the MAC's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career Sunday. Bukasa led a Warriors defense which forced seven turnovers in a 28-23 loss to No. 14 Widener on Saturday. The Sharon Hill native posted nine tackles, forced a fumble and made two interceptions as the Warriors limited a Pride offense that was averaging an NCAA-best 59 points per game. Bukasa leads the Warriors with 59 total tackles this season. He is the second Warrior to earn Defensive Player of the Week honors, joining Nate Oropollo who earned the award on Sept. 9 and Oct. 7.
