County coalition offers free flu vaccines

The Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition will sponsor a free flu outreach on Friday and Saturday at six locations in the county.

More than 1,000 free doses of flu vaccine will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pennsylvania College of Technology health science students will administer the shots.

On Thursday, vaccines will be given at:

9 to 10 a.m. Waterville Fire Department

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wheeland Center, Jersey Shore

3 to 5 p.m. Hepburn Volunteer Fire Co., Cogan Station

On Friday, vaccines will be given at:

9 to 11 a.m. Campbell Street Center, 600 Campbell St.

Noon to 2 p.m. Hughesville Fire Department

3 to 5 p.m. Montgomery School District Field House
