Norma E. Blades Tickner

Norma E. Blades Tickner, 91, of Mansfield, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro.

She was born June 13, 1921, in Watkins Glen, N.Y., the daughter of Wilber and Elizabeth Buchannan Blades. She was the wife of Louis W. Tickner who predeceased her on April 26, 1999. She was a housewife and lived in the Roseville area for 60 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (James) Dunkleberger of Mansfield; a son, Richard (Karen) Tickner of Little Marsh; grandchildren, Valerie Lechner of Mansfield, Steven Miner of Mansfield and Rick (Lisa) Dunkleberger of Wayne, N.J.; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Gary W. Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at noon with Rev. Allen Hulslander officiating. Burial in Jobs Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Roseville United Methodist Church, 4118 Rt. 549, Mansfield, PA 16933 or Broad Acres Nursing Home, 1883 Shumway Hill Road, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
