Kelsey McCabe and Kaylora Thompson won the District 4 Class AA girls tennis doubles title Monday at the West Branch Tennis Club, defeating Loyalsock's Kim Levy and Anna Newcomer in the final 6-3, 6-4.
McCabe and Thompson beat Bloomsburg's Olivia Fry and Ivy-Rose Kramer 6-4, 6-3, in the semifinals, while Levy and Newcomer beat Kelly Reed and Maggie Rymsza of Muncy in the other semi, 6-2, 6-2.
Both finalist duos advanced to the PIAA tennis championships Nov. 2-3 at the Hershey Racquet Club.

Also, McCabe and Thompson will play for Hughesville against Wyomissing today at 1:30 in Hershey in the first round of the PIAA Class AA team tournament. Levy, Newcomer, and Loyalsock will play Scranton Prep at 2 today at the West Branch Tennis Club.
