TOWANDA - Pete A. Alesky Jr., 67, of Monroeton, died in a one-car crash Tuesday when the vehicle he was operating drove into a house, state police said.
Alesky was traveling in a 2011 Ford F350 pickup truck on Route 2027 when he lost control of the truck, drove off the road and struck the garage of a house at the intersection with Chapel Street in Towanda Township.
He was transported to Towanda Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one in the house was injured, police said.
