In order to support her drug habit, Christina Emily Moore, of 1508 Mount Carmel St., stole $1,000 from her neighbor's home and sold the neighbor's television set, the 30-year-old admitted to city police, according to court papers.
Moore stole the money from neighbor Marion Cramm sometime in late August, police said.
Cramm had loaned Moore her television set, but when she went to get it back learned that Moore had traded it for drugs, police said.
Jailed earlier this month on a probation violation, Moore was arraigned before District Judge James Carn on charges of theft and theft by deception and recommitted to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $12,500 bail.
