It is soon time to pick the man who will head our country. The United States chief - our President.
Let us go, whether it is to the right, the left, whether it be a Democrat or Republican. Just make sure the choice is the man that will be right for the present and the future.
In this election, the Republican that is running speaks of the middle class quite often. It is hard for me to understand how he would know how the middle class lives!
In the November 1997 issue of Time Magazine, I started to read the article about the Mormons. They own over $40 million in revenue. The land they own is worth $858 million.
They own 100 properties through their welfare system. Hotel Temple Sq. Co. owns much of the real estate in downtown Salt Lake City. The church owns 16 radio stations and one television station. Their annual income is $5.9 billion.
Income from titles and other offerings is $5.3 billion and $600 million from income investments.
Membership in 1996 was 9.7 million. Now mind you, this was in Time Magazine, which is most likely in the library if anyone would like to look it up. Remember these figures were from 15 years ago.
Can he put this all aside and believe to live like the middle class? To date, he has spent $4.5 million on his campaign. Just remember, when the time comes to vote, think it over real well, and consider all the facts.
There have been many who died for our country, let it not be in vain! It is not what your country can do for you, it is what you can do for your country!
