Guilty plea reached in Jersey Shore theft

October 26, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

JERSEY SHORE - In a case brought before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley earlier this month, Gregory A. Lowell II, 19, of 1078 Fifth Ave., Avis, pleaded guilty to theft after Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police withdrew a charge of access device fraud.

The charges stem from Lowell using Cody McCloskey's stolen debit card to purchase $40 worth of items at the Minit-Mart, 815 Allegheny St., on Aug. 28, police said.

Lowell made arrangements to pay $266 in fines and court costs.
