Changing characters

October 28, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Mitt Romney changes characters depending on his audience more often than ancient Greek actors exchanged masks for different roles. The media has given quite a bit of attention to his role with donors where he called out 47 percent of hard pressed Americans as shiftless.

Romney and Bain Capital invested close to $23 million in the Global-Tech sweatshop in Dongguan, China, where he did nothing to alleviate the abysmal working conditions or improve wages, a pittance at 24 cents an hour. Today the factory is still a dollar an hour sweatshop with no workers rights. Is this what Romney means when he now says he is tough on China? This model in China may be the cornerstone of a Romney administration here as well pay the working middle class a pittance so the pockets of the wealthy can be filled even more.
