Williamsport Sun-Gazette

LOCK HAVEN - Lock Haven University recently announced that a free, public performance by Jessica Walizer, the first recipient of the Margery Krevsky Scholarship of the Arts, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at Steinway Hall in New York City.

The evening begins with a reception by the Lock Haven University Foundation and the performance by Walizer begins at 7:30 p.m.

Krevsky, a Harrisburg, native, and founder and CEO of the largest premier full-service talent management agency in the Michigan - Productions PlusThe Talent Shop - recently was recognized by her alma mater, Lock Haven University, for her distinguished business practices and commitment to the community.

In honor of the university's 1966 graduate and Council of Trustee member, Lock Haven University established the Krevsky Scholarship for the Arts, an annual scholarship awarded to a student studying in an arts-related field, with preference granted to a student studying piano performance.

LHU is an official All-Steinway School, designated by Steinway & Sons.
