True or false?

October 31, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

In the second nationally televised debate between Gov. Romney and President Obama, the president said, "There are millions of women all across the country, who rely on Planned Parenthood for, not just contraceptive care, they rely on it for mammograms..."

False.

One of the biggest myths perpetuated by the left and Planned Parenthood (PP) is that the abortion giant provides mammograms.

It does not.

It is, however, the largest provider of abortion services in the U.S.

Mammography has been in use as an tool in the battle against breast cancer since about 1970.

But, according to the FDA, no PP facility in the U.S. is licensed to do mammograms. Last June, the Department of Health and Human Services said no PP clinic in the U.S. has mammogram equipment.

Nevertheless, the left has repeated the claim that PP is in the mammogram business to justify continuing taxpayer funding for abortions.

Obama is an effective spokesman for the abortion industry.

If only he had an effective strategy to promote economic growth.

Turns out Obama is qualified to do something: On November 6th, let's persuade him to run for the head post at PP.
