Randall D. Zarr, 68, of 3765 Woodley Hollow Road, Montoursville, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 17, 1943, in Montour County, a son of George R. and Mary A. Zarr.
Randy was a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Teamsters Union, where he was an equipment operator. He was a member of the Teamster Local 764 Milton, the American Legion Post 323 Watsontown, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8206 Turbotville, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 866 Muncy Valley and the 40 et 8 Society Club. Randy was also an avid sportsmen and hunter.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 36 years, Norma M. Evans; brothers, George R. Zarr Jr., Richard Lee Zarr and William Franklin Zarr; and a sister, Anna Rebecca Engleman.
Randy is survived by a stepson, John F. Sorg; brothers, Harold Leroy Zarr and Walter Gary Zarr; sisters, Ella May Nicholas, Shirley Mary Bitler, Verissa Edna Smith and Nancy Marie Zarr; and also a close companion, Roxanne Frey.
At Randy's request, there will be no viewing or services.
Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
