Dorothy M. Staccone, 91, formerly of East Mountain Ave., South Williamsport, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Rose View Center.
Born May 24, 1921, in Union Township, Union County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Getz Mull.
She was preceded in death by her husband Armand E. "Dutch" Staccone on Feb. 27, 2011, two sisters and eight brothers.
Dottie was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, and a member of the former Ascension Church. She had worked as a seamstress. Dottie enjoyed ceramics, bus trips to the casino and being with her dog Fluffy.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth Willard of Northumberland, many nieces and nephews, and many brothers and sisters-in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Burial will be held in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the portico at St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Dottie's name may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 711 W. Edwin St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
