Kristine Lynn Spong, 47, 1308 W. Southern Ave., South Williamsport, has been charged with misdemeanor shoplifting after she was caught allegedly trying to steal $63 worth of merchandise from Kmart, 1915 E. Third St., on Aug. 27.
Following her arraignment this week before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Spong was released on $2,500 bail.
