Williamsport Sun-Gazette

MANSFIELD - Joshua D. Forrest, 19, of 241 N. Main St., Mansfield was charged recently with two counts of making false alarms to public service agencies, and 12 counts of recklessly endangering another person.

According to District Judge James Carlson's office, he was charged by state police after members of the Mansfield Hose Co. reviewed the calls and recognized his voice.

The first call, made June 7, falsely reported a motorcycle crash in which the operator was injured, police said.

The second call, made Oct. 2, falsely reported a fire in Sullivan Township, police said.

Forrest will be issued a summons to appear when a date is set, police said.
