Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kimberly Anderson Hopkins and Samuel Loy Scaife III, both of Baltimore, Md.
An Aug. 3 wedding at the Geneva Lakefront Ramada, Geneva, N.Y., is being planned.
Hopkins is the daughter of Barbara and David Hopkins, Geneva, N.Y. She graduated from Midlakes High School, Clifton Springs, N.Y., in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in English and interdisciplinary studies and a master's degree in special and childhood education from D'Youville College, Buffalo, N.Y., in 2006. She is employed by Howard Public Schools, Ellicott City, Md.

Scaife is the son of Kimberly and Richard Miller Jr., Loyalsock Township, and Darlene and Samuel L. Scaife Jr., Elimsport. He graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 2001, and attended business classes at Bloomsburg University. He is employed by the Better Business Bureau, Baltimore, Md., as trades practices manager.
