Taylon Allen Hamilton, 19, of 2219 Four Mile Drive, has been charged with attempting to rob another man in the area of West Fourth and Poplar streets about 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 9, city police said.
Hamilton has been charged with attempted robbery, attempted theft. attempted receiving stolen property and harassment after approaching Zachary Manley and demanding that he empty his pockets, police said.
Manley had no money on him, police said, adding that the two men know one another.
Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Hamilton was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
