Outlaws lose on road

Brian Yanovitch lifted the Cape Cod Bluefins to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against the Williamsport Outlaws Friday night at Cape Cod.

Yanovitch got on the scoresheet 8:22 into the second period. He then added goals at 11:01 into the second and at 13:43 into the third.

Cape Cod's offense rang up 45 shots as it broke a 3-3 tie after two periods.

The Outlaws' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Cape Cod power plays. Williamsport forced the Bluefins goalie Ryan Klingensmith to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

The Outlaws were led by Jamie Zaleski, who tallied two goals. Zaleski scored the first of his two goals at 8:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Williamsport. Tyler Matheson assisted on the tally. Zaleski's next tally made the score 3-3 with one second1 seconds left in the second period. Paul DAgostino picked up the assist. Williamsport also got a goal from Chris Leveille as well. More assists for Williamsport came via Nick Vandenbeld and Matt Smyth, who contributed one a piece.

The Outlaws, who earned theri first win Friday night, return home Wednesday vs. 1000 Islands.
